“Sharing the Hope”
“Sharing the Hope”
On November 3rd at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Immaculate Heart Radio President Douglas Sherman will present the Spirit of Service Award to five local AM 1260 KSFB supporters who exemplify the ideals of charity and dedication. In a time when our culture is searching for a positive message, Sharing the Hope reinforces Immaculate Heart Radio’s commitment to making a difference in the lives of its listeners.
The evening’s lineup includes two very distinguished guest appearances, Patrick Madrid and Anna Maria Mendieta. Patrick Madrid is a well known Catholic speaker, author, publisher, and host of EWTN’s “Open Line” (Thursday) program. Madrid will give listeners a solid perspective on how God works through various people and media outlets – including Immaculate Heart Radio – to bring the truth and hope of the Catholic faith to people everywhere.
Anna Maria Mendieta is the principal harpist with the Sacramento Philharmonic and has played for numerous international dignitaries, including Pope Benedict XVI. Called “an exceptional and charismatic soloist” by the American Symphony League, Mendieta has appeared on TV, movies, NPR, and at the Emmy Awards.
Tickets to the event are $35. Hors d’oeuvres, a wine bar, and dessert stations are included in the night’s refreshments.
Join Immaculate Heart Radio, Patrick Madrid, Anna Maria Mendieta, and this year’s recipients of the Spirit of Service Award for this incredible event.
