Oct 15, council meeting
Worthy Brothers,
Just a brotherly reminder, please come to our monthly council meeting this thursday, Oct 15, 2009. As always, we meet at 7:30 PM.
I'd like to encourage all incoming officers and all members to bring in a guest to our meeting. The more we are..the stronger we get. Two are better than one and a three-ply cord is not easily broken.
Think of some ways we can do fundraising to support our Gym Booster Club. We will need new members to support all our works and future projects for the Church and our community.
All our meetings are important, so try to attend all of them. Our success depends on you.
“Double Star Award”
“Double Star Award”
As one measure of the Council’s renewed strength, we received our second consecutive “Double Star Award” earned by those Council’s that reach at least 200% of their membership and new insurance member quota.

There is a newly donated piano in St. Rita’s Hall.
Brother Richard Irwin arranged for the move and Deacon Jim Haug funded it.

Gil asked Erik (Church Director) to plan the Altar Servers Recognition event, Eucharistic Minister/Lector Training (for interested Knights).
Erik mentioned we should cover the coffee/donuts for 10:00 a.m. Masses.

Father W. Adalbert Gluszek Garden
Father W. Adalbert Gluszek Garden
Worthy Brothers,
Frank Thude wants to find out if we have a plan yet for cleaning and planting of Father Gluszek Garden. Donna Smith has a separate fund for it.
We should be able to handle this project if majority of us can volunteer. Brothers, let us unite to fulfill Father Michael J. McGivney's vision.
We will talk about this more on our Council meetings. God Bless!
Come to our meeting and bring new ideas how to better serve the Church and our community.
Vivat Jesus!
Brother Gil
