Join K of C Choir

Join K of C Choir

Worthy Brothers,

I sang with our regular church choir last Sunday at the 10 AM Mass and even with a not-so-great singing voice, I felt good.

They do need men's voices to give balance to the total effect of the music.

If you score well in karaoke singing, you should be highly eligible for the choir. In life, adventureinto the unknown is the greatest thrill.

A CATHOLIC FAMILY FRATERNAL SERVICE ORGANIZATION

The Merian Council of the Knights of Columbus is an organization dedicated to assisting our Parish in every way we can.

We come from all walks of life--priest, deacons, bankers, teachers, builders and blue collar and white collar workers. K of C members work together to help their Church and their community and family as well.

Our Council sponsors the Boys and Girls Basketball program and the soccer challenge this fall. We sell Tootsie Rolls to support the Mentally Retarded children of America. We also sell Christmas cards in November to raise funds for future use. And we support our troops in Iraq with Care Packages who are fighting for our FREEDOM.

The Marian Council host the annual St. Patrick's Day Dinner and this year the proceeds will be used for the painting of St. Rita's Hall. We support our local St. Vincent de Paul Society by donating unperishable foods the week before Thanksgiving day.

WE ARE BUSY ... AND WE LOVE TO SERVE!

Do yourself and your family a favor... JOIN US! It's an experience of a lifetime.

Membership 2nd place Divison 2

Marian Council finished 2nd in Div 2 in membership growth

Marian Council finished 2nd in Div 2 in membership growth

Worthy Brothers,

I got back from the State Convention in San Jose this morning and I bring good news.
There were 560 councils all over California that attended and the Marian Council finished second in Division two in membership growth. I am proud of all our new members and also our new transfers.
You are the reason why we received a plaque.
Brothers, we need to grow more and bring in new members in our Council.
The Knight's Choir and the Knight's Mass is a very good way to serve the Church...the body of Christ. We are building a "civilization of love" through volunteer service. Vivat Jesus!
Fraternally in Christ,
Brother Gil Eliares
