SEPTEMBER:
Congratulations to Marc Ormando. Our Worthy Warden has been very active the past couple of months with Pro-Life efforts to include participating in Saturday prayer in front of the San Mateo Planned Parenthood (as well as dragging other Brothers along). Marc has set a goal of having 100 Knights from throughout the Chapter join him in this effort.
AUGUST:
Congratulations to Brother Kevin Jung as the Knight of the Month for August. Brother Kevin has shown great leadership. He has been a great help to me this last month presiding over a council meeting and the Chapter meeting this month in my place. He was also took the lead in facilitating the hospitality dinner for the first degree. Congratulations to Brother Kevin for a job well done.
JULY:
Congratulations to Chancellor and Family Chairman Jeff Patino who has been selected the Knight of the Month for July. Jeff and his wife Laura are involved in Marriage Encounter and just helped lead a session at Good Shepherd (with 4 Knights and their wives in attendance). Jeff has added a Family page on our website which is a must-see:

JUNE:
Congratulations to Rudy Parayo (our new Recorder) who has been selected the Knight of the Month for June. Rudy is a long-time active Good Shepherd parishioner.

APRIL:
Every month of the year, I see a brother Knight and many times brother Knights doing many things for our council, for our Church and for our community. And I'm proud to see brothers doing just that.
For the month of April, I've seen our brother go to our Church to worship together with his family every saturday night. He got involved last good friday directing people during the veneration of the Cross. He attended both our April council meetings and supported our fundraising casino trip by going in the trip with his wife. He also helped giving snacks and water to the bus passengers, taking out garbage and recycling plastic for the good of our environment.
Brothers, I am happy to present to you Jeff Patino as our Knight of the Month of April.
Congratulations brother Jeff..don't get tired of doing good!

Our February Knight of the Month is someone I'm very impressed with his dedication in serving our council and the Church.
He is everywhere. He helps me greet parishioners in the ten o'clock Mass, he helps sell books for fundraising, he helps doing collections in the Church and even sings in the choir.
I am happy to choose Brother Richard Irwin as our Knight of the Month of February.

JANUARY:
Our Knight of the Month of January have a busy month. He tended the bar during our crab dinner. He goes to Church every Sunday and also helps in the collection when needed.
When he's not out of town working, he makes sure that he attends our bi-monthly meetings.

JUNE:
Congratulations to the Patino family for being selected Family of the Month. Jeff and his wife are very active in World Wide Marriage Encounter (an event all consider married Catholics should consider). Jeff is very active within the School and Parish and the Council; he did an excellent job as Master of Ceremonies for our Anniversary Dinner. His wife serves as Eucharistic Minister and there are Altar Servers among their bountiful offspring.

Congratulations to the Irwins, Mercados, and Ormandos for their extraordinary contributions in making our anniversary dinner such a success. It is an honor to serve with you and your families.

I am very sure that you will agree with me about who I have chosen as our Family of the Month of February.
He is a very dedicated member of our council. He is a Lector, a member of our choir and always around in all our projects.
He goes to Church and worship with his family together. His wife is also active in helping in many of our council projects. They are also active in the "Teen Mass"

JANUARY:
Our family of the month of January are long time parishioners. And they always go to Church and worship together with their three children.
Their son Mark Alan serves regularly as an Altar server. Brother Bill always volunteer to do collections on Sundays. He is married to Elizabeth and have two sons; Mark Alan is 12 and Johnny is 10. Their only daughter is Sarah and she's 16.
Congratulations to the Bredall family as our Family of the Month of January.
DECEMBER:
Brother Sean Jordan and his family is our Family of the Month of December. Although Brother Sean’s job change has kept him from being as active in the Council this year as he would like, he and his family can always be found worshipping together and active in participating at Mass, whether it’s singing in the choir, collecting, or bringing up the gifts. Two of Sean and Evageline’s three sons are altar servers (one is still too young). Evageline took part in the Parish Retreat and the Jordans also participate as active Good Shepherd School parents. Congratulations to the Jordans.
NOVEMBER:
Brother Emmanuel Santillan and his family is our Family of the Month of November. Besides being our Church Deacon, brother Noel is a regular member of the Church Choir singing and playing guitar as well. His wife Maria is an active Sacristan and their daughter Catherine serves also as an Altar server. As a family, they are true servants of the Lord.
OCTOBER:
Brother Erik Doran and his family is our Family of the Month for October. Brother Erik have been serving regularly in the Church as a Lector and Sacristan. He is also a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society serving the poor in our community. His son Christopher is also active and serves regularly as an Altar server. His wife Cintia is also involve in our Council's family gathering.
